CONSIDERATE CONSTRUCTORS SCHEME

Considerate constructors seek to improve the image of the construction industry by striving to promote and achieve best practice under the Code of Considerate Practice which outlines the Scheme’s 5-point expectations and describes those areas that are considered fundamental for registration with the Scheme:

  • Care about Appearance: Constructors should ensure sites appear professional and well managed
  • Respect the Community: Constructors should give utmost consideration to their impact on neighbours and the public
  • Protect the Environment: Constructors should protect and enhance the environment
  • Secure everyone’s Safety: Constructors should attain the highest levels of safety performance
  • Value their Workforce: Constructors should provide a supportive and caring working environment

Founded in 1997, the Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation aiming to improve the image of the construction industry. At the National Awards, only the highest performing registered companies – approx. 1% of the monitored companies – are selected to receive Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards.

In 2018, Ciorba Construction Ltd was once again awarded with the prestigious Gold Considerate Constructors Scheme National Company Awards and once again received a highly acclaimed second award for being one of “the very highest performing construction companies”.

Special guest Shaun McCarthy presented Ciorba Construction Ltd with these awards for “their incredible commitment to and achievements in promoting a positive image of the construction industry“.

Here is a glimpse of the atmosphere at the 2017 Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Company Awards where Ciorba Construction Ltd won the Gold Award and the trophy for “The Most Considered Company Runner Up”.

CCS honoured the most excellent achievements of our company.

In 2017, Ciorba Construction Ltd was honoured to be awarded with the Gold Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Company Awards and also to receive a second award along with a trophy for “The Most Considered Company Runner Up”.

Special guests Steve Radley and Clare Watson presented Ciorba Construction Ltd with these awards for “demonstrating exceptional standards of professionalism and helping to build a bright future by improving the image of construction”.

In 2016, Ciorba Construction Ltd won the Silver Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Company Awards for the second year in a row. Our company was rated with 4.5 stars by CCS.

The awards celebrated those that have demonstrated the greatest consideration towards the public, their workforce and the environment and were presented by special guests Liz Male, Chairman of TrustMark and Richard Beresford, Chief Executive of the National Federation of Builders.

Ciorba Construction Ltd won the Silver Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Company Awards in 2015, the biggest ever National Company Awards.

CCS celebrated Ciorba Construction Ltd as a registered company that has made among the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction, demonstrating exceptional and ongoing commitment to considerate construction.

The impact of our work on the community, the environment and our workforce was highly appreciated.

Receiving a National Award is an achievement that any award winner could and should be very proud of. These awards serve as recognition for the hard work and determination that our company has shown in improving the image of construction through care and consideration for monitored 5-point Code of Considerate Practice.

FEDERATION OF MASTER BUILDERS

The Federation of Master Builders is the largest trade association in the UK construction industry, representing thousands of firms in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland which have to fulfill strict criteria before joining and committing to abide by a stringent Code of Practice.

  • FMB independently inspect and vet the members upon joining and again every 3 years to provide credible proof of their quality
  • Building better means building trust, so the homeowners will be assured of a better building experience
  • For over two decades the Master Builder Awards have highlighted the fantastic work carried out by builders across the UK

Established in 1941, the FMB is an independent and non-profit making organisation which has championed continuous improvement in building standards. Their manifesto: BUILD BETTER.

In 2017, Ciorba Construction has been voted the London Regional Winner and is going forward to the National Awards and compete with Britain’s very best builders for the National Category Title in two categories.

As an FMB member, Ciorba Construction Ltd has signed up to the FMB Code of Practice, has passed credit checks, public record and director checks, and verified no un-discharged bankruptcies or relevant and outstanding County Court Judgments.
